What happens if my e-bike is stolen?

What happens if the bike is damaged during rental?

If the damage results from misuse of the e-bike, the customer will be charged. We always give a small briefing to explain to our customers how to use our ebikes in the best possible way and avoid breaking them. If the damage is not your fault we will take care of it and a replacement will be made as soon as possible. By following simple rules during use, breakdowns will be avoided.

What happens if the MTB has a flat tyre or is seriously damaged?

We always provide an easy-to-use repair kit. If this is not enough and the tyre damage is serious, we will take care of it with our mobile workshop.

Are rental ebikes insured against theft or damage?

Of course all our services and products are insured.

Do I have to leave a security deposit?

A security deposit is always required for long-term rentals, tour bookings with other services such as tastings or guided tours in other facilities.

Can I carry a passenger on the rental bike?

We have child seats available for children weighing up to 23 kilos. 

Are rental bikes equipped with lights?

Our ebikes are equipped with signal lights for riding on the road. We can rent helmet lights or handlebar lights separately.

Do you also provide helmets?

A helmet is always included in the rental.

Are there any special traffic rules I need to know?

How much do your rental ebikes weigh?

E-bikes are heavier than normal mountain bikes (mtb): depending on the type of bike, including chain and lock, they can weigh 23-25 kilos. But you will be surprised by the ease of riding and the assistance of the electric motor!

Are tools also provided with the bike for quick maintenance?

For medium and long distance tours, easy-to-use maintenance kits are always provided.

Do you organise guided tours?

Certainly. Please consult the special section for ebike guides and for sightseeing and hiking tours. We have introduced the novelty "e-bike name to be invented" to allow you to explore the surrounding area by ebike.

Do you provide routes with gps?

We are equipping ourselves but we prefer to provide a guide as the dynamics of the trails and the personal abilities of each user are varied and the experience of a guide is definitely better than a GPS.

How long does an electric bike battery last?

It depends. Indicatively, the autonomy of a charge can vary between 80km and 120km. However, a lot depends on how much you use the assistance (if you always pedal with the assistance at maximum level you will consume more), the weight of the person pedalling and the type of terrain (in the hills or mountains the autonomy will be lower). You will find at each of our rental points in our different destination bikes adapted to the proposed routes.

Does the battery recharge while I am pedalling?

The electric bikes in our fleets do not recharge while cycling. The batteries are recharged with a charger using a normal electrical outlet, like your mobile phone. If we propose a very long tour or if we understand that running out of battery power might compromise your enjoyment, we let you bring the charger: you can charge the battery while you take a break to eat or have a drink at our tourist spots.
