This tour will let you discover the Valnerina and its beauties. We will set off by train with our ebikes in the direction of Spoleto where our tour will begin. Along the GreenWay of the Nera we will cross bridges and tunnels of the former narrow-gauge railway with electric traction in the Umbrian Apennines, which was decommissioned in 1968. A small jewel of railway engineering: in fact, no fewer than 19 tunnels were built along the relatively short 51-kilometre route, with the pass tunnel near Caprareccia almost 2 kilometres long, and 24 bridges and viaducts.
We will also encounter the famous Marmore Falls, the highest artificial waterfall in Europe and among the highest in the world, with a total drop of 165 m divided into three jumps.
An excursion that will leave you open-mouthed for the variety of landscapes and beauties we will encounter along the way.
